Chicago Architectural Metals (CAM)
Challenge
Illinois Department of Transportation was seeking a way to provide technology assistance to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's) as part of IDOT's Technology Assistance Program (TAP).
Role
As the lead designer, responsible for designing and developing Web sites for more than 20 Small Business Enterprises (SBE's), including this site, all within a very tight timeframe.
Results
This new clean looking site allowed CAM, one of the largest minority owned metal contractors that furnishes and erects a wide variety of architectural metals, ornamental iron, and miscellaneous metals for commercial, healthcare and institutional facilities, to enhance its competitiveness by providing a strong web presence, minus the typically high site creation, maintenance, and enterprise rollout costs. This site also allowed CAM to communicate contractor information and service offerings via the Internet.
